Then God Made Librarians

On the seventh day God rested,

Then He thought of one more thing –

The world will need librarians

And the order they can bring.

So out of dust He made them

And then blessed them with a task:

“Be there for the humans

When they begin to ask.”

“Show them how to find

The answers that they seek,

And be there as a resource

When learning starts to peak.”

They took the task to heart

And organized all things

And gave to man the gift

That only knowledge brings.
